Residential Air Conditioning Aluminum Fin Evaporator
The technological process of an air conditioning evaporator mainly includes the following steps:

Throttling and Pressure Reduction of Refrigerant

Before entering the evaporator, the high-pressure liquid refrigerant from the condenser first undergoes throttling and pressure reduction through an expansion valve. This process lowers the pressure and boiling point of the refrigerant, creating conditions for its heat absorption and evaporation inside the evaporator.

Heat Exchange Process

Indoor air is forced into convection by a fan and flows over the fins and pipe surfaces of the evaporator. Heat is transferred from the air to the refrigerant, achieving energy transfer. During evaporation, the refrigerant absorbs a large amount of latent heat, reducing the air temperature. Meanwhile, water vapor in the air condenses into water droplets, producing a dehumidification effect.

Evaporation of Refrigerant

Inside the evaporator pipes, the refrigerant rapidly absorbs heat and evaporates into a low-temperature, low-pressure gas. This phase change process is the core of refrigeration, converting the refrigerant from a liquid to a gas.

Connection with the Refrigeration Cycle

The low-temperature, low-pressure gaseous refrigerant at the evaporator outlet returns to the compressor, restarting the refrigeration cycle. This cyclic process continuously operates in the air conditioning system to ensure stable indoor temperatures.
